Ideal laboratory apparatus for the study of wave motion in 2 dimensions. Students obtain evidence that waves undergo reflection, refraction, dispersion, and diffraction.

The tank is constructed of a rugged stainless frame with a glass plate for maximum optical clarity. It is equipped with 520mm× 520mm× 460mm steel box with a 350mm× 450mm projection screen, contains a 12V/50W built-in light source, and rippler bar.  a variable speed control operates the DC rippler motor.

The high-intensity light source provides excellent illumination, and the rippler motor provides ideal waves for both low- and high-speed operation. Unit also includes a woodblock and stick, a plastic tube and a sponge.
